Privacy Policy
At VaultSoft Labs, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy outlines our transparent data practices across our website, developer tools, and AI applications.
On This Page
1. Overview & Scope
VaultSoft Labs ("we," "our," or "us") designs and builds software products, developer tools, cloud-native solutions, and AI-powered utilities such as VaultSlides. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our website (vaultsoftlabs.com), public services, developer portals, and associated web tools.
By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
2. Information We Collect
We gather only the minimum amount of data required to operate our applications effectively and communicate with you.
A. Information You Provide Voluntarily
When you submit an inquiry through our contact forms, reach out via email (hello@vaultsoftlabs.com), or request a software consultation, we may collect your name, email address, company or organization, and the details of your inquiry.
B. Tool Inputs & User Prompts
When using interactive utilities like VaultSlides, we process the prompt topics, slide count selections, visual theme preferences, and revision instructions you submit to produce outlines and presentation files.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you browse our website, our servers and hosting infrastructure collect standard technical telemetry, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, and access timestamps.
3. How We Use Your Information
We utilize collected data strictly for lawful and legitimate purposes, including:
- Delivering, maintaining, and enhancing our developer tools, web applications, and services.
- Generating slide outlines, decks, and content requested via VaultSlides.
- Responding to technical inquiries, project proposals, and customer support messages.
- Monitoring system security, mitigating automated attacks (such as DDoS and bot abuse), and diagnosing technical errors.
- Fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations.
4. AI & Large Language Model Processing
VaultSoft Labs develops tools that harness artificial intelligence models (such as OpenRouter and foundational LLM endpoints). We maintain strict standards regarding your AI inputs:
Transient Processing: Prompts submitted to tools like VaultSlides are transmitted securely to AI inference providers solely to generate your requested outline or presentation in real-time.
No Model Training on Your Data: We do not sell your prompts, and our commercial API agreements with inference providers do not authorize using your proprietary inputs to train public foundational AI models without your consent.
Local Slide Generation: Final presentation files (PowerPoint .pptx) are compiled directly within your browser session or transient memory, reducing unnecessary cloud storage of your finished documents.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Providers
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We only share data with vetted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our infrastructure, subject to confidentiality agreements:
- Cloud Hosting & Delivery: Providers hosting our Next.js edge applications and database endpoints.
- Content Management: Sanity.io for serving published blog articles, case studies, and project portfolios.
- Communication & Form Processing: Secure email gateways and Google Cloud APIs for storing contact inquiries.
- Legal Compliance: If required by valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law to protect life, property, or legal rights.
6. Data Retention & Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical controls to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
Encryption
All web traffic and API communications are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
Retention Limits
Contact inquiries are kept for the duration of client relationships or until deletion is requested. Transient AI payloads are discarded promptly after generation.
7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your geographical jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California), you may hold the following statutory rights regarding your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@vaultsoftlabs.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days without discrimination.
9. Children's Privacy
Our software, tools, and services are targeted at developers, businesses, and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please notify us immediately so we can remove it.
